• Your rental statement or rates notice

• Proof of payment of any default listings appearing on your Veda Advantage Credit File – Baycorp (Free) or Veda (Express)

Definitions

Car Purchasing: When inspecting a car you wish to purchase, it’s a good idea to perform some preliminary checks. This will help you decide if the car is worth investigating further.

Chattel Mortgage: The customer owns the car from the start of the agreement. The financier secures the loan by registering a charge over the car.

Commercial Hire Purchase: The financier purchases the car and hires the car to the customer. When the final payment is made, ownership of the car passes to the customer.

Extended Warranty Cover (Cars): This insurance safeguards you in case of faults or breakdowns. It will cover the major mechanical and electrical items of your car.

Novated Lease: A Finance Lease between the financier and the employee which is then novated to the employer. The employer pays the employee’s rental obligations from the employee’s pre-tax salary.
